THE EXECUTION LAYER

One commercial question.
Many moving parts.

Trade work is not a single introduction. Explore how the surrounding workstreams become a practical plan, with licensed providers engaged where required.

DETAILED PATHWAYS / 10

Open a workstream.

Every case begins with scope and ownership. These pathways describe the questions we can organize. Specialist availability and authorization depend on the jurisdiction and engagement.

01Physical trade & sourcingA real requirement, a comparable supplier set.

Define product grade, certification, volume, destination, timing and the buyer’s current basis. After the buyer confirms a need, compare written offers from suitable producers or authorized sellers. We do not present a market signal as a purchase order.

WORK PRODUCTBuyer brief · supplier comparison · open issues
02Tenders & formal procurementEligibility before bid effort.

Review the issuer’s original notice and documents, deadline, award criteria, mandatory licences, bid security and submission channel. A bid or consortium is developed only with the bidder’s authorization; WGTO does not claim influence over the awarding authority.

WORK PRODUCTGo/no-go note · compliance matrix · bid responsibilities
03Logistics & customsMake the delivered route legible.

Map origin, destination, port pair, freight mode, customs classification, Incoterms, storage, cargo cover and handover points. Quotes and coverage are confirmed by the relevant carrier, broker or insurer for the actual shipment.

WORK PRODUCTRoute map · landed-cost inputs · documentary checklist
04Payment & banking readinessSettle the transaction lawfully and practically.

Identify payer, payee, currencies, proposed instrument, banks and documents. We prepare questions and transaction evidence for banks or payment providers; account opening, credit, trade finance and sanctions decisions remain theirs.

WORK PRODUCTPayment-flow map · provider questions · unresolved approvals
06Entity formation & market entryBuild only the structure the trade needs.

Assess whether local incorporation, registration, permits, beneficial-ownership filings or a distributor arrangement is appropriate. Local legal, corporate-services and tax providers confirm the route and undertake any regulated filing under their own engagement.

WORK PRODUCTJurisdiction options · dependency map · specialist scope
07Mobility, visas & workforcePeople pathways follow the actual jurisdiction.

Map director, employee and visitor needs, including official online visa or work-permit application routes where available. Eligibility, timing and approval vary by nationality and purpose; licensed immigration and employment specialists take responsibility where required.

WORK PRODUCTMobility checklist · official route · employer obligations
08Accounting, ERP & Obsidian BKTranslate the deal into accountable records.

Scope bookkeeping, invoicing, reporting and ERP workflow automation through the Obsidian BK workstream. Agree systems, data access, controls and delivery responsibilities for each engagement. Qualified local providers oversee statutory accounting, payroll, tax filings and audit opinions.

WORK PRODUCTResponsibility matrix · reporting calendar · adviser brief
09Existing-chain improvementImprove a route before replacing it.

Examine an established buying or selling process for specification mismatch, supplier concentration, inventory exposure, freight cost or documentary friction. Compare alternatives without assuming an existing contract can be broken or that a cheaper headline price wins.

WORK PRODUCTCurrent-state map · alternatives · implementation sequence
10Insurance through qualified providersMatch the cover to the actual exposure.

Coordinate cargo, liability and business-insurance enquiries with qualified providers. A provider confirms its authority, advice, placement terms and policy coverage for the relevant parties and jurisdictions. Availability and cover are assessed case by case.

STANDARD BUYER PROCESS

Ask first.
Source second.

We do not assume a market move means a company needs a new supplier. A real mandate begins with the buyer’s own confirmation.

  1. 01 / DiscoverIdentify a dated price, policy, production or trade-flow change and a plausible industrial buyer.
  2. 02 / AskContact the relevant commercial team; confirm whether a requirement exists.
  3. 03 / SpecifyRecord grade, quantity, destination, certifications, timing and commercial constraints.
  4. 04 / CompareSeek comparable written offers from suitable suppliers; calculate delivered economics.
  5. 05 / AgreeObtain consent and written terms for any introduction, fee and subsequent transaction roles.
THE BOUNDARY MATTERS

Capability requires accountability.

Entity formation, visas, citizenship routes, bank accounts, tax filings, payroll, insurance, investment management and controlled goods are jurisdiction-specific. WGTO can scope and coordinate a case; regulated advice or execution requires a separately engaged, appropriately authorized provider. We do not represent WGTO as a bank, law firm, immigration adviser, licensed investment manager, insurer or exporter of controlled goods.

Start with the commercial problem.

Existing supply chains are welcome. A better supplier, alternate route or clearer transaction structure can matter as much as a new deal.
